Recently I lost my kitten Rocket. He was an orange tabby that we got from the Grant County Animal Shelter in July. He became my best pal and would follow me everywhere I went, and napped on my lap at the end of each day. One night he didn’t come home. Welcome to my 30 Ways in 30 Days…. Day 2 – Aircraft Viewing Area at Grant County International Airport. Growing up in Las Vegas, my parents used to take us to McCarran International Airport to watch planes land. It was a cheap form of entertainment that always led to a lot of ‘ooh-ing’ and ‘ahh-ing’ and the covering of our ears, with an occasional lesson from my dad on how planes fly…but I’m not sure my he knew what he was talking about!
